About Our Executive Chef H.J. Jan
Executive Chef H. J. Jan has won 10 Gold Medals since 1983
in cooking competitions here in USA and globally. The last
one was the most enviable one in the World: The Gold Medal
from the IKA/Culinary Olympics held in Germany when he
represented the American Culinary Association
for the competition 2008.
He developed his cooking skills of different Chinese regional
cuisins in Taiwan. He cooked some times for famous people
and dignitaries. He has his own TV Show on wireless Taiwan
Channel before he left Taiwan. Then he came to U.S.A. and
either work for others, or owned his own restaurants all
throughout the U.S.A. He learned DIM SUM and other
Cantonese cooking in Hong Kong, and travelled and researched
extensively throughtout China for a few months and gained a
lot more insights in Chinese Culinary arts.
